The Women and Children International Development Foundation

The Women and Children International Development Foundation (WCIDF) is a non-profit 501 (C) 3 organization and was created to address the shortage of care currently available to women in the prenatal and postnatal conditions, infants and children that live in the economically depressed rural regions of western China and Tibet by providing health and medical information, educational training and services.

Working through the SBA Office of Advocacy, the process required five years and millions of dollars. The SBA spun off ACE-Net into a university-based operation in 2000.

In December 2004, ACE-Net spawned Active Capital. a 501[c][3] nonprofit corporation, in order to further its original mandate and aims, upgrade its operations and extend its reach through powerful new alliances. Ark Royal International Airways and 367th Commercial Air Group

Ark Royal plans to provide low cost single flights between geographic regions and passenger travel on selected routes from Gateway Cities as well as air freight services. The 367th Commercial Air Group will operate aircraft converted into a flying hospital ship capable of being deployed to any forward location globally in support of disaster relief.  The aircraft will be equipped hospital with triage, operating room, recovery, laboratory and associated equipment along with a full global communication suite.  Plans are when the aircraft are not in use in support of disaster relief the aircraft will be made available to FEMA, CDC and teaching hospitals for humanitarian mission into third word countries.
