The Women and Children International Development Foundation

The Women and Children International Development Foundation (WCIDF) is a non-profit 501 (C) 3 organization and was created to address the shortage of care currently available to women in the prenatal and postnatal conditions, infants and children that live in the economically depressed rural regions of western China and Tibet by providing health and medical information, educational training and services.

The Foundation was formed specifically to help address this enormous rural medical problem with the goal of supporting and promoting ways of improving basic health care and to develop and institute programs that would help to raise the socio-economic level in these rural areas of western China.

Active Capital grew out of a challenge to the government and private investment community to create access to equity capital for entrepreneurs. Issued at the 1995 White House Conference on Small Business, the challenge initiated studies and actions that eventuated in ACE-Net, the Angel Capital Electronic Network.

ACE-Net worked with the SEC and the State regulators in order to minimize
the possibility for fraud, maximize compliance with national securities laws, and harmonize federal and state securities regulations. Working through the SBA Office of Advocacy, the process required five years and millions of dollars. The SBA spun off ACE-Net into a university-based operation in 2000.

In December 2004, ACE-Net spawned Active Capital. a 501[c][3] nonprofit corporation, in order to further its original mandate and aims, upgrade its operations and extend its reach through powerful new alliances. 367th Commercial Air Group

The 367th Commercial Air Group was formed in 2005 to act as a holding company for Logistical Air Services.  Plans are to acquire one or more existing airlines to provide flights between geographic regions and passenger travel on selected routes from gateway cities as well as air freight services.  The 367th Commercial Air Group has also answered a USAF request for information to indicate its plans to provide a commercial air refueling alternative for US DoD aircraft.

The 367th Commercial Air Group will also operate aircraft, with a conversion kit, as a flying hospital ship capable of being deployed to any forward location globally in support of disaster relief.  The aircraft hospital will be equipped with triage, operating room, recovery, laboratory and associated equipment along with a full global communication suite.  Plans are when the aircraft are not in use in support of disaster relief, the aircraft will be made available to FEMA, CDC, and teaching hospitals for humanitarian missions into third-world countries.
