Eve Marie Boerlein
Director, Washington Operations
Ms. Boertlein has over twelve years of
experience in the federal government, extensive experience in
international and domestic diplomatic relations, marketing, media, radio broadcasting, business
development, public relations, public affairs, and event management,
Ms. Boertlein is responsible for the oversight,
development and implementation of international and
domestic program objectives and operations. She
works directly with the President and Vice President
of the company and serves as one of the key liasons
between corporate headquarters and our international
offices.
Ms Boertlein was a key player in the development of
the US-China Corporate Council, a program designed
to educate and promote trade opportunities. She has
organized a number of delegations of entrepreneurs
from China to meet with US businessmen, US Senators,
US Congressmen and City Mayors. She has considerable
experience in planning and organizing golf
tournaments.
Ms. Boertlein assisted and worked with the US-Algeria
Business Council, that has a membership base of U.S.
Fortune 500 companies and their Algerian
counterparts; She developed, organized and
coordinated events, briefings and seminars for this
organization to include an annual dinner in New York
honoring President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, a dinner
for the World Bank 2002 LNG Summit honoring US
Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham and Algerian
Minister of Energy and Mines Chekib Khelil, and the
June 2003“Building Networks. She also developed and
coordinated forum programs for Algerian delegations
to include the US Algeria Agriculture and Market
Access forum, the 2003 Worldwide Food Expo in
Chicago, Illinois and the 2003 and 2004
International Trade Fair in Algeria.
Ms. Boertlein served as the Director of Development
for The Self-Reliance Foundation where she
supervised development teams and coordinated funding
opportunities; Developed viable fundraising strategy;
prepared funding reports, evaluations and proposals;
and was responsible for raising over 2.8 million
dollars in less than ten months.
Ms. Boertlein has considerable experience in
developing business strategies, identifying
targets of opportunity, conducting domestic and
international marketing
initiatives and has also implemented multi-tiered fundraising
campaigns for non-profits and political
organizations;
Ms Boertlein has a wealth of experience in the
media field and radio broadcasting. She was the
Program Specialist for the Office of Cuba
Broadcasting at Radio Marti Program.
She was responsible for the development of program
themes that were produced and edited to include a
daily “live” informational radio show in Spanish.
She also coordinated specials events and schedules
with the news departments and agencies.
Ms. Boertlein was responsible for the development of
program broadcast guidelines and managed the
computer infrastructure. She prepared quantitative
and qualitative analysis of data pertaining to
audience trends in Cuba. Researched and prepared
reports on audience trends in Cuba. Developed
questionnaires and protocol for listener panels and
focus groups, and conducted expert Panels and focus
groups in Spanish. She was responsible for
monitoring and analyzing Cuban radio and TV to
determine trends and patterns in Cuban broadcast
content, style and effectiveness.
Eve Marie Boertlein is a US Citizen and was born in
New York City. She holds a number of degrees to
include a Masters Degree in Public Administration
from the University of Miami, Miami, Florida; a
Masters Degree in International Relations form the
State University of New York, Albany, New York; and
a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Political Science
from the University of Miami, Miami, Florida. She is
a graduate of the Women in Executive Leadership
Program (WELP). She is fluent in Spanish and
possesses a working knowledge of French and German. |
